Dievole Chianti Classico 2013 represents Dievole’s Renaissance in Chianti Classico winemaking. It is the first Dievole wine to fully communicate the uniqueness of this terroir and Dievole’s respect for it. The wine is made of 100% Sangiovese.

Winemaking Process

The spontaneous fermentation develops with native yeast and it takes place in 80 Hl Slavonian oak casks for 12-13 days at a controlled temperature of 26°C.
Natural malolactic fermentation.

The aging is made in 41 Hl French oak casks for about 14 months. The casks are in non – toasted oak and they originate from the noble forests of Allier.
The bottle aging lasts at least 3 months.

Tasting Notes

Intense red ruby.
Intense, fresh and elegant. Red forest fruits and fresh cherry flavors are completed by floral notes of violet.
Fresh and round, with a perfect balance between acidity and tannins. The harmony of the fruity and floral aromas enhance the elegant character of Chianti Classico. Pleasant and persistent finish. Ideal with cheese, pasta with different types of sauce, grilled meat.
