At Dievole, the world-famous traditional Tuscan cuisine meets innovation in culinary techniques, a warm dining atmosphere and the most authentic ingredients.
Our Ristorante Novecento is a welcoming and comfortable restaurant near Siena ready to satisfy your every desire. Ideal for those spending some time staying in the Chianti Classico area and wishing to taste everything this region has to offer, the restaurant is also open to passersby who can enjoy a fantastic glass of wine where it’s made, in the stunningly beautiful atmosphere of rolling hills lined with olive groves and vines.
Guests can have a gastronomic experience at any time of day, from the rich and local-product-based breakfast in our historic “Scuderie”, a light or full lunch outdoors, or a tasty multi-course dinner of the best Italian cuisine, served in our courtyard rose garden during the long summer Tuscan nights.
Dining at Dievole is all about Tuscan hospitality: a relaxed atmosphere characterized by friendly staff and a kitchen serving up seasonal dishes with brilliant flavours and truly local provenance.
Tuscan cuisine interpreted by Chef Monika Filipinska
Uniqueness. This word may be the best way to describe the philosophy of our Chef Monika Filipinska, who concentrates on the best ways to exalt local products and their flavours, supporting local producers and a respectful approach to the environment.
Maximum attention is given to preserving the freshness and flavour of local Tuscan foods through the way these resources are prepared and cooked, applying original pairings developed through research and experimentation.
Dining areas at Dievole
The dining areas at Dievole are located in internal and adjacent spaces to the 18th-century villa. The interiors, on the ground floor, are designed down to the smallest details, with a palette of cream, earthy green and burgundy shades; formal yet relaxing, with comfortable seats that are perfect for long evenings among friends. The restaurant is divided into several spaces, including the master table in a private room, intended for small groups.
The courtyard at the back of the restaurant, the so-called “Giardino delle Rose” including the “Aione,” is the ideal location for summer dinners, as well as special events, like our traditional weekly barbecue.
For a snack or a drink at any hour of the day, the Giardino del Tasso, just outside the main villa and next to the D’Wine Club, is an open-air lounge in every way, the perfect place for a glass of wine or an aperitivo with a view on olive groves and vines at sunset.
During the Fall, aperitivo time takes place in the Lounge Bar located on the ground floor of the main villa.
From 10.30 am to 10.30 pm, guests also have the opportunity to choose from a limited menu, with authentic snacks prepared on demand.
The wine list
The wine list also adheres to the principles of Dievole Wine Resort, offering a selection of the best Tuscan labels produced by Alejandro Bulgheroni Family Vineyards Italia, among which its Chianti Classico DOCG and IGT Toscana, as well as wines from Bolgheri and Montalcino areas. From white to rosé, red to vinsanto and grappa, the selection at Dievole is perfect from the aperitivo to the post-dinner drink.
