I.g.t. “Rinascimento” 2005

The “Rinascimento” is composed of a selection of Tuscan native grapes from different vineyards as Sangiovese, Ciliegiolo, Canaiolo, and Foglia Tonda grapes. The grapes have been harvested by hand and pre-selected from Petrignano, Casanuova, Valli and Massoni vineyards.

Ageing
In 8.000 lt. oak Vat-casks barrels for about 1 year. The bottle ageing is for about 3 months.

Vinification
The pre-maceration is made in stainless steel barrels for 3 days at 5°. The maceration continue at 25°. Draining off after 7 days. The malo lactic fermentation occurs spontaneously.

Description
Colour: ruby deep with blue highlights.
Fragrance: fruity with plum and pepper aromas.
Taste: dry, tannic, persistent and good acidity.
Serving suggestion: salami, ham,pasta, appetizers, pizza and vegetables.
Serving Temperature: 16 – 18°C.
Produced bottles: 50.000 (0,750 lt.)
Packaging: 6 bottles in cardboard cases or wooden cases
